Day 1

  • “Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!” Psalm 139:23
  • Lord, search my heart! Reveal to me the true condition of my heart. Reveal even secret sins to me that I may repent and be cleansed.
  • “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” Psalm 85:6
  • Lord, let the manifest glory of Christ overtake us! Restore and renew us in abandoned devotion to Jesus Christ!

Day 2

  • “I acknowledged my sin to you, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord--then you forgave me the guilt and iniquity of my sin.” Psalm 32:5
  • “If we admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
  • 1 John 1:9
  • Father, I confess my sins to you. I call on your mercy over me, a sinner. I confess my self- righteousness and beg your forgiveness.
  • “Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down? That the mountains might shake at Your presence - As fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil - To make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!” Isaiah 64:1-2
  • Lord, shake us to awaken us! May the nations take notice of the glory and beauty of Jesus Christ!

Day 3

  • “All of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5: 5b-6
  • Righteous God, I humble myself under your mighty hand. Forgive me of my pride and rebellion.
  • “May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to the honor and praise of God.” Philippians 1:11
  • Lord, shine through me!

Day 4

  • “Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your fathers.” Jeremiah 35:15
  • Father, I pray for my nation and her leaders. Open our eyes to the purpose you ordained for this great nation, convict our leaders of sin and give us a hunger for righteousness.
  • “And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple.” Malachi 3:1 “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind…” Acts 2:2
  • Lord, our hearts long for Your spontaneous move among us! May we not hinder You in any way. May we flow freely with the Holy Spirit!

Day 5

  • “The leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, “The Lord is just.” When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the Lord came to Shemaiah: ”Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance.”
  • 2 Chronicles 12: 6-7
  • King of kings, You are a just God and I pray You reveal Yourself to the leaders of this nation and they would humble themselves before You. Holy Lord, restore the fear of the Lord to this nation.
  • “Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest to force out and thrust laborers into His harvest.'” Matthew 9:37, 38
  • Father, cause us to be constantly mindful of The Harvest! Open our eyes to opportunities to witness and minister into lives and to pray for the Harvest!

Day 6

  • “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
  • Lord, I confess I am weary of all the things that are wrong in my nation, my place of business, my church and my family. I choose to lay down these burdens in order to see breakthrough! I humble myself before you asking you to give me the burdens of your heart.
“When Solomon had finished praying, the fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house. The priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. And when all the people of Israel saw how the fire came down and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed with their faces upon the pavement and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, For He is good, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.” 2 Chronicles 7:1-3
  • Father, we know revival is not due to our efforts or strategies, but a sovereign gift of Your grace. We pray, 'Let the glory fall!'

Day 7

  • “Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for a man to humble himself? Is it only for bowing one's head like a reed and for lying on sackcloth and ashes?...Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?” Isaiah 58:5-6
  • Heavenly Father, I confess that I am often only concerned with my own needs and desires. Teach me the way of humility, give me your heart, and give me a burden to pray to loose the chains of injustice, to untie the cords of the yoke and to set the oppressed free! Make
my days of fasting and prayer count for your purposes!
  • “For thus says the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15
  • Oh Father, may my heart be humble before You. Revive me, I pray!

Day 8

  • “And when Jesus heard it, He said to him, One thing you still lack. Sell everything that you have and divide [the money] among the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come back [and] follow Me .” Luke 18:22
  • Lord, I confess my wrong attitude toward finances. I know all things
belong to You and You provide well for Your children! Give me a generous spirit that I may share the blessings You have given me!
  • “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.” Matthew 5:13
  • Faithful Father, help me stay alert to the ways I influence others - may I remain salty and flavorful and a positive influence for the Kingdom! Don't let me become salt-substitute or lose my flavor!

Day 9

  • “The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth.” Psalm 25:9-10
Mighty God, as I humbly confess my needs and concerns, open my eyes to Your mercy, guidance and direction.
  • “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth; the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 40:3-5
  • Father, I prepare the way of the Lord through my prayers. Give me discernment to pull down every hindrance and stronghold. Direct my prayers for revival in our nation! Reveal Your glory!

Day 10

  • “The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.” Psalm 147:6
  • Lord, may I cultivate a habit and lifestyle of humble confession. May I be open and transparent before You in my daily prayers.
“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21 “May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing with hope.” Romans 15:13
  • Father, when it looks like the evils of this world are winning, I choose to allow Your hope to flood over me, filling me with joy and peace. Help me as I determine to overcome evil with good!

Day 11

  • “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4
  • Jesus, I confess busyness and letting deadlines and 'to do' lists run my life! I want to sit at Your feet and wait upon You. Come Lord, create patience within me to rest, sit and behold the beauty of Your holiness.
  • “See I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:10
  • Father, Give me a heart to reach people! I cry out for spiritual breakthrough! I silence the enemy's lies over the lost and declare the planting of the seed of God within them and the building of the Kingdom!

Day 12

  • “When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom.”
  • Proverbs 11:2
  • Lord, I repent of pride and ask for Your wisdom! Grant me divine direction and the ability to apply it in my life.
  • “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. And He caused me to pass round about among them, and behold, there were very many [human bones] in the open valley or plain, and behold, they were very dry. And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know!” Ezekiel 37:1-3
  • Father God, send Your reviving presence to impossible situations! Pour out Your Spirit in the middle of spiritually dead situations! Revive us again!

Day 13

  • “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
  • Father, I confess there are times my heart strays from devotion to You and You alone. I have let people and things become more important than You. Make my heart loyal to You alone, that You might show Yourself strong for me. Keep me fully devoted to Your plans and purposes!
  • “To the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.” Proverbs 27:7
  • Lord, sometimes good is the enemy of what is best! Let us receive those brief touches of Your grace as encouragement to keep praying and not become prematurely satisfied. We must keep seeking and praying!

Day 14

  • “Behold, I long for Your precepts; in Your righteousness give me renewed life.” Psalm 119:40
  • Almighty Lord, stir up my spiritual hunger. Bless and fill my hungry
    heart!
  • “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed, To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound” Luke 4:18, 19
  • Father, may I be constantly alert to opportunities to minister to and encourage others. You have blessed me to be a blessing, You have taught me so I may teach others, You have healed and strengthened me, comforted me and granted me mercy so that I may turn and share Your love and power with those around me. Anoint me as I disciple others!

Day 15

  • “But He said to me, My grace is enough for you; for My strength and power are made perfect and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9a
  • Lord, sometimes all I see is my weakness! Thank you for Your grace that is enough for all I face. I will be effective as You work in and through me!
  • “And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy.” Acts 2:17, 18
  • Holy Spirit, be poured out! Come and stir the gifts within the children of God! I receive Your works in my life! I will obey as I minister to others at Your leading! I will expect signs and wonders!

Day 16

  • “Now Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I beg you, give glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession to Him do not hide it from me.” And Achan answered when I saw among the spoils a beautiful garment, two Hundred shekels of silver and a wedge of gold I coveted them they are hidden in the midst of my tent.” Joshua 7:19-21
  • Father, reveal to me my secret sins that I would not weaken or cripple those about me. Uproot every seed of destruction in my life!
“And they steadfastly persevered, devoting themselves constantly to the instruction and fellowship of the apostles, to the breaking of bread and prayers. And day after day they regularly assembled in the temple with united purpose, and in their homes they broke bread. They partook of their food with gladness and simplicity and generous hearts” Acts 2:42, 46
  • Father, as new churches are planted, I pray they persevere in fellowship and instruction, and in assembling in united purpose. I pray for many more groups of believers to gather for Your purposes.

Day 17

  • “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.” Deuteronomy 6:4, 5
  • Holy Lord, I confess that You alone are my God. There is no God like You and I will serve You with all my heart. Give me strength to resist the pluralism of our culture and proclaim this truth!
“Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” 1 Kings 18:42-44
  • Lord, I pray for persistence in my faith and prayers. I determine to keep on praying for revival and spiritual awakening in America until Your answers come!

Day 18

  • “Do not quench (suppress or subdue) the [Holy] Spirit”
    1 Thessalonians 5:19
  • Loving Father, I honor and respect Your presence. Forgive me for my failure to sense and recognize the tender blessing of Your presence. Holy Spirit, have Your way!
  • “But I tell you; love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Matthew 5:44-45
  • Merciful Lord, I am astonished by your mercy and grace over all people! Your ways and thoughts are much higher than mine. Teach me to have mercy and grace as You do and help me to pray for my enemies.

Day 19

  • “I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone for kings and all who are in positions of authority.” 1 Timothy 2:1, 2a
  • Father, I confess I do not pray, intercede and give thanks for leaders as I should. Renew within me the desire and passion to intercede for those in positions of authority.
  • “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ…” Colossians 4:2-3
  • Lord, I pray for leaders, those you are using and those you have called who are being prepared and positioned. Teach and prepare them, lead and guide them, anoint them for Your service and use them mightily in the Kingdom.

Day 20

  • “Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.” Psalm 9:10
  • Holy Father, Thank You for revealing Yourself to those who seek You. May I continually surrender myself in pursuit of You!
  • “But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile. 1 Corinthians 15:57, 58
  • Lord, help the Church of Jesus Christ be firm, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord! Revive us as we labor for the Kingdom!

Day 21

  • "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:64
Lord, keep the fire in my heart burning as I expect your return! I invite You, Holy Spirit, to keep me stirred and pray that I will keep my mind on Christ and things above!
  • “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:15-20
  • Father, as I complete this fast, don't let me become lukewarm in my faith! I receive Your discipline, I humbly repent of my sins. Saturate my life, Lord. Let me spark revival in those around me!
