iWIN Mission 21 Prayer Watches

Mission 21 Prayer watches are monthly prayer vigils to pray for the nations. Scripture encourages us to advance God’s kingdom through intercession, asking for the nations as our inheritance (Psalm 2:8) and challenges us to become “…a new threshing instrument with many sharp teeth… to tear your enemies apart, making chaff of mountains.” (Isaiah 41:15). iWIN’s focus is to be connected to the heart of God through prayer. Fervent, focused intercession for the nations of the world is the heart of the Father. (Isaiah 56:7)

Thus, Mission 21 Prayer Watches are a strategic way to pray for the nations. Conferences, churches and/or individuals may choose a region of the world or several specific nations to cover in prayer. You may pray over these same nations each month or progress through the listing of the nations to pray for 18 nations per month covering all 216 in a year. The iWIN website will soon be updated to provide you a method of reporting your Mission 21 Prayer Watch activity. Please check back for updates.

It is suggested that each conference, church or individual keep the same day (or date) each month. Opportunities for the children and youth to be involved should also be provided. It is helpful to research each nation and provide information to those praying so they can offer specific, focused prayer for the nations.

By keeping the Mission 21 Prayer Watch, we are forming a global iWIN prayer network through our conferences and local churches so that all aspects of our mission to the nations might be bathed in prayer across every time zone 365 days a year.

Let’s continue corporately to honor a prophetic word spoken over the IPHC:

You are to be strategic, informed intercessors who know the nations…From this time forth, according to the Word of the Lord, you are to be a people who go to and fro in the earth with nations in your heart…You are a doorway to the nations.”
