July, 2008 Prayer Focus

1. Pray that President Bush will accomplish, without hindrance, what God intends during his remaining term of office. John 4:34
2. Pray God will make clear His choice for the 2008 presidential race, and that motives will be clearly exposed. Proverbs 29:2
3. Pray the American people will determine to study the issues, searching out each candidates' stance and exercise their right to vote based on qualifications and character rather than party, race, or age.
4. Pray for God's people to answer the call to prayer for the spiritual awakening of our nation. 2 Chronicles 7:14,
5. Pray for the protection, strength and encouragement of our servicemen and women and chaplains. Pray for their spouses and families as they are far from home. Psalm 91
6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray the hearts of the people of Israel will be turned to trust in the name of the Lord and the Messianic Christians will flow in the love of the Lord to influence their land for Christ. Zechariah 4:6, Romans 11:25-26
7. Pray for the families of America - healing in relationships; Christian values, and godly choices. Proverbs 24:3, Romans 12:10
8. Pray for those affected by natural disasters around the world; that they would look to the one true God in their desperation and find hope. Pray that Christians are able to reach out to the afflicted to offer comfort, provision and salvation through Jesus Christ. Psalm 33:18, Deut. 30:19
